Announcements – June 14th

Shayla Hudson   -

We want to invite you to be part of The Bridge—a weekly ministry dedicated to helping men and women coming out of prison find a new church home and community. Our next gathering is Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30 PM, and we need volunteers to help welcome guests, serve food, and join in worship. This is a powerful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you’d like to get involved, sign up today.

Calling all Class of 2026! We want to celebrate you! If this is you or your child’s graduation year, from kindergarten through doctoral programs, we will be highlighting these important milestones Sunday, June 28th.  If you’re interested in participating, please sign up by Wednesday, June 17th.

Looking for a group of men to walk with you through the real issues of life? Our Men’s Bible Discussion meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, creating space for honest conversation around topics that matter most to men. This is a safe, supportive environment to grow in faith, learn together, and build meaningful relationships. If you’re looking for connection, accountability, and spiritual growth, sign up today and be part of a dynamic men’s community.

Soul Rise Sessions are back!  If you enjoyed the morning calls during the fast, or if you’re simply looking to start your day with your mind and heart focused on Christ, this is for you. Soul Rise Sessions are 30-minute morning prayer calls where we spend a few moments in a quick devotional and then pray together to start the day. It’s a powerful way to grow in your faith and connect with a community pursuing a deeper relationship with the Lord. If you’re seeking more intentional time with God and want to start your mornings centered in Him, we invite you to join us  on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6AM.

We’re circling back to our Brown Bag Food Pantry initiative. We’re still collecting donations to help stock our shelves—but we want to make sure we’re offering quality to those in need. As you bring your items in, please make sure they are new, unopened, and not expired. We had to toss a few donations in April because they weren’t usable, and we want to ensure that what we give is something we’d gladly receive ourselves. If you’d prefer to support financially, you can do that too! Just text the keyword Food Pantry followed by the dollar amount to 312-313-1800. Let’s continue to be a blessing to our community.
