We want to invite you to be part of The Bridge—a weekly ministry dedicated to helping men and women coming out of prison find a new church home and community. Our next gathering is Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30 PM, and we need volunteers to help welcome guests, serve food, and join in worship. This is a powerful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Serve Day is coming up, and this is a beautiful opportunity for us to love our city in a simple, practical way. In connection with International Service Day, we’ll be serving together on Saturday, July 11th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We’re looking to fill 20 volunteer slots as we show up together and make a real impact beyond our walls. And this is something the whole family can be part of — kids ages 5 and up are welcome to serve too. Every volunteer will also receive a CityPoint t-shirt, so we can represent together as one church family. Summer is here, and we’re making space to slow down, connect, and enjoy community together. Join us for our Grillin’ and Chillin’ Summer Bash Block Party on Sunday, July 12th, right after 11AM service. We’ll have food, games, and good times for the whole family — AND a chance to connect with our neighbors right here on the block. So come ready to eat, laugh, play, and spend time with your church family and our local community. Our Back to School Drive is coming up on August 1st, and this year, instead of uniforms, we’ll be providing students in our community with something every child needs to walk into the new school year with confidence: a brand-new pair of shoes. We’re inviting every person who is able to help us fund this initiative. Your generosity will allow us to bless students and families with new shoes as they prepare for a fresh start this school year.To give, simply text SHOES to 312-313-1800 followed by the dollar amount. Soul Rise Sessions are back! If you enjoyed the morning calls during the fast, or if you’re simply looking to start your day with your mind and heart focused on Christ, this is for you. Soul Rise Sessions are 30-minute morning prayer calls where we spend a few moments in a quick devotional and then pray together to start the day. It’s a powerful way to grow in your faith and connect with a community pursuing a deeper relationship with the Lord.
