We’ll be diving into the book Stat Here, that walks through the Gospel, the Holy Spirit, and the local church—three essentials for building a strong spiritual foundation. The Singles and Women’s Ministries are team up to put on our very first Friendsgiving. But it’s not your normal Friendsgiving…it’s a Color Party! It’s going down Saturday, November 15th at 6PM, right here at Citypoint. When you RSVP, you’ll get a color assignment — then on the night of the event, wear that color and bring a basket of snacks that match your hue!  You must register by Sunday, November 9th, so we know how much food to prepare. If you are looking for a night of good food, games, and even better company, then sign up today.

 

Are you or someone you know affected by the lapse in SNAP benefits and are in need of groceries? CityPoint is here to help. Sign up by Thursday for a slot to receive groceries on Sundays at 10:15AM or 12:15PM.

 

Want to help families in need? Now’s your chance to make a difference! While SNAP benefits remain uncertain, we’re providing groceries each week to 20 families—and we need your support. Sign up to help by providing groceries for these families. Grocery drop-off will take place on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, and family pick-up will be on Sundays at 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM.

 

Join us on November 22rd from 10 – 11AM, for our Thanksgiving Food Giveaway to hand out bags of food to help local families celebrate Thanksgiving. This initiative is led by CP Next’s Ivie Ehimwenman.  If you are interested in volunteering, sign up here.

 

Soul Rise Sessions are back!  If you enjoyed the morning calls during the fast, or if you’re simply looking to start your day with your mind and heart focused on Christ, this is for you. Soul Rise Sessions are 30-minute morning prayer calls where we spend a few moments in a quick devotional and then pray together to start the day. It’s a powerful way to grow in your faith and connect with a community pursuing a deeper relationship with the Lord. If you’re seeking more intentional time with God and want to start your mornings centered in Him, we invite you to join us.

We’re circling back to our Brown Bag Food Pantry initiative. We’re still collecting donations to help stock our shelves—but we want to make sure we’re offering quality to those in need. As you bring your items in, please make sure they are new, unopened, and not expired. We had to toss a few donations in April because they weren’t usable, and we want to ensure that what we give is something we’d gladly receive ourselves. If you’d prefer to support financially, you can do that too! Just text the keyword Food Pantry followed by the dollar amount to 312-313-1800. Let’s continue to be a blessing to our community.
